Well 14 year old May Furhe has always thought she knew her job was-to protect the sacred orb containing the power of Life itself, along with her fellow brethren, the Belvins, against the terrifying race of the Dakonulis.
But one day, a strange and unnerving dream weaves it's way through May's mind, making her decisions harder-and letting fate fall into the palm of her hand.
When the powerful Orb is transported and hidden on Earth to prevent it from falling into the hands of the Drakonulis after an all-out invasion, May's choices would either lead her to the Orb, or to her doom.
Along with her animal guardian Woldrine and a mysterious boy, they embark on a journey pushing May to the limits and testing her trust-for one false move would mean destruction, and death.

So then she arrived at a portal in the woods greeted by a guard. The guard sends her through the portal and when she arrived to the other she had seen something unbelievable, people just like her.
