A world where humans are the enemy and it is dangerous to even look like one is where the heroine of our story dwells. Beaten, shunned, and outcast by her people Sylvonna is forced to live out the remainder of her days in a dark dank prison cell due to the mysterious transformation of her appearance. All that is left of her former self is a streak of white hair that reminds her of the happier days of her past.

Her childhood friend Trayven, who is a shunned half human, breaks her free from time to time to spend a few precious hours with her. Once she shows her strength in sharing her pain with another, her transformation becomes complete and a power awakens within her that lay dormant until now.

She learns from the Elder of the elves that this has happened long ago to five beings of Royal blood, one from each of the kingdoms that makes up their world. This transformation occurred to protect the four lands from the human king that wanted to pillage and destroy the others to become the most powerful being in all of the land.

History is now repeating and it is up to the current Gifted Royals to rid the world of the darkness and to prevent the human king from destroying the outlying four kingdoms.

Will Sylvonna's past of abuse and scorn lead her to join the Human Gifted Royal to punish those who hurt her, or will she find the courage to rise above her past and vanquish the darkness that threatens to take over?

Please note: this is a complicated story and hard to describe, if you start reading I know it will be worth your time. Do not forget to make and comments, suggestions, or edits that you wish I am wanting/needing as much feedback as I can get. Enjoy!!

In a world where immortals have grown complacent and demons rise with newfound strength, the prophecy of the Phoenix's return whispers across the land. The Demon King, Azgaroth, sealed away a thousand years ago by the sacrifice of the Phoenix, is awakening. The powerful magic that bound him is weakening, and only the reborn Phoenix can reinforce the seal and prevent his return. Ardara, a blind warrior raised by General Varek in the Kingdom of Tirathos, has always felt an inexplicable pull within her. Skilled in the art of combat and Chi'ra, a mystical energy, Ardara's journey begins when she learns the truth: she is the Phoenix reborn. As her powers awaken, so too does the threat of Azgaroth's release. Drawn to the Academy of the Ascendants, a sacred place for those with great potential, Ardara begins her training under Aresius, the God of War, who has descended to help humanity. Despite their divine differences, a bond grows between them-a love that transcends gods and mortals. But not all is as it seems. Seraphina, a rival at the academy, believes herself to be the true Phoenix, manipulated by the dark forces of Azgaroth. The immortals, once the protectors of the world, remain on the sidelines, leaving the human realm to battle the demons alone. As Ardara's destiny unfolds, she must confront the darkness within, face the trials of becoming the true Phoenix, and learn that the greatest power comes not from magic alone, but from the heart. The fate of Erethis rests in her hands-but will she be strong enough to face the ultimate sacrifice? Love, war, and destiny collide in this gripping fantasy, where ancient prophecies, betrayal, and the power of the Phoenix shape the future of the realm.
The Age of Solace: The Silver Wolf by -loneXwolf97-
63 parts Complete Mature
Volume 1 of the "Age of Solace" series. (Part 1 of 4). A serious dark-fantasy story. Descriptive violence and gore, as well as dark themes (Rated M, no lemons present). Peace. Conflict. War. Bloodshed. This is the way of things, and this is what happened between the dragons and mankind. Once they were allies. Man was ever growing and learning, while dragons were their guardians, watching over them. But mankind was greedy, and from that greed bred betrayal towards their great allies. In times long ago, dragon and man worked together to rid their realms of the demonic presence that once invaded their lands. Together, they defeated that enemy. But now, dragons are near extinct and the demonic menace has returned. There are humans that possess abilities that allow them to fight back, but it is not enough. Such humans have banded together, in a group called Corvin's blades. They hope to be able to defeat their enemy without the aid of dragons this time... but there is more to all of this than anyone understands. This story follows multiple youthful characters as they not only aid in the fight against the demonic threat, but learn and grow as they discover more about the lands they live in and of themselves. Views on dragons are changing, demons and spirits are invading, and two individuals are in the center of everything that is happening. Was it fate and destiny... or choice and coincidence? *Rated M for descriptive violence and gore, as well as dark themes* * Chapters to be updated* *Cover art was made by myself. For the Rebellion

29 parts Complete

Prince Theodred isn't interested in the responsibilities that come with his title. The only thing he is interested in is partying, flirting, and the occasional gossip scandal. After all, if everyone thinks the worst of him, he'll never have to disappoint anyone. King Tristan and Queen Lena have had enough! After a particularly extravagant party, they give him an ultimatum: Resolve the rebellion in Woodport or be cut off financially. They want to change him, but he has no desire to be anything he isn't. Eager to get back to his life of indulgence, he heads north. Theo intends to squash the rebellion through whatever means necessary. Then he meets the rebellion's leader. She's mysterious and beautiful, even if her face is hidden behind an ornate mask. He wants to know who she is, what makes her smile, and why she won't give in to his demands. But perhaps doing things on her terms is the way to get what he wants. Perhaps he might just find that he cares. Perhaps he was wrong, and change is inevitable. Perhaps he might become the prince he's spent his life avoiding. Perhaps, it will all be worth it.
