Odessa lives in a world where beauty determines status. Those who are beautiful are at the top of the totem pole, while those considered ugly are at the bottom. Beauty used to be a relative term, but new-age scientists have created a method of measuring beauty through the use of scoring different categories by multiple judges. Every year, those deemed most beautiful in their quadrant compete in a contest to name the most beautiful person in the world. A group of people live for this contest. At first, it seemed everybody was in the group. But, maybe, not everyone agrees with society's values. Maybe not everyone only sees skin deep.All Rights Reserved
