"Hello, my name is Arthur." I said, with little enthusiasm in my voice. Even if it sounded like I put no effort into my voice quite frankly it was all I could do with my bland tone.

"Did you say your name is Awkward?" She said smirking as she placed a hand on her hip.

"No I am pretty sure, I said Arthur." I said flustered and with a bit of anger in my voice. She walked up to me and poked me right in the middle of my "one pack chest". I flinched and she once again did that sinister smirk satisfied with my reaction. She came close enough to me that I could feel you hot breath touch my skin, and her hairs slightly brushed my neck.

"Yeah sure...So, Awkward who convinced you to tutor me?"

I Arthur have very few goals in life. In order for my already failed life to somewhat succeed, I was convinced I needed to get into my first choice school. Even if it means I have to tutor the devil herself, Mackenzie Roni.

CRINGE WARNING! First book I ever wrote on here!! -- "Sometimes the person who you are willing to take a bullet for is the person behind the gun." I stood peering over the cold lifeless body that lay before my eyes. I had always thought of death the enemy, but right now, I blessed it upon the person who is now at peace. Sometimes you don't need to be the smartest, or the fastest, but you do need to be wisest. They say the blood runs deeper than water, and I believe it, because even though the people that we love can turn on us and begin to hate us, they are only human, meaning that soon they will begin to see how short life really is and how it is not to be wasted. People who seem perfect and they look like they have no floors'; they are the people who are suffering, like I was. But I found my savior in the most uncommon place. He was able to look through my mask, he saw the cracks, and tried to fix the broken girl that hid away deep inside the girl who only wanted to be seen as 'fine'. I slowly began to find comfort and safety in him, and I did the same to him. We were two broken people becoming whole. Someone once said when you pass, if you can count your true friends on one hand you are beyond lucky, and I even though I did not like the person that lay before me, I know that he once had true friends, including me. I'm a 17 year old girl who has suffered more than any other, beginning to believe that 'Hope' was just another word the people throw around. Until I fell in love with a badboy. She was the undesired outcast, who stood out, yet simultaneously blended effortlessly into the background. I could see the panic in her glassy brown eyes as she prayed her way through the crowded hallways. She'd tightly clutch that cross around her neck, full lips whispering, asking her God to spare her from their scornful glares, hateful comments, and the occasional rough-up. Silly girl. Did she not know that he was not listening and he would never save her? Like Jesus, she was the sacrificial lamb. The anxiety-riddled girl would burst through the doors of the school's library with her chest heaving, heart racing, and sweat dripping from her temples. I'd watch her from the shadows as she stored her items behind the check-out counter, preparing for her free period she spent assisting the school librarian. I clenched my teeth, watching her wheel a cart of books throughout the aisles as she cheerfully hummed her Sunday hymnals. She wore a green and blue pinafore dress that fell mid-calf on her shapely body. She attempted to hide that body from me with oversized clothes, but you could never outfox a fox. They spoke pure blasphemy when they labeled her undesirable because I desired Jezebel Holmes in the worst way. Those opaque white stockings our classmates teased her for wearing did nothing but spur countless hours of fantasies. I'd dream about ripping her tights apart, right at her center, revealing her virginal cotton white panties covering her untouched paradise. I'd yank them to the side and taste her fear in her cum. Her stockings would find themselves strangling her neck while I fucked a believer out of her. I would be the one she'd pray to absolve her of her sins. I would be the one she would seek protection from. I would be her guiding light. I would be her God. #1 in Dark Romance #1 in Tainted Love #1 in Preacher's Daughter 1st Place in General Category - Hearts Award
THE DEAL BREAKER by venitah123

She traced small circles on my chest. Her breath tickled my skin reminding me how close her lips were. I sighed in content. "I'm sorry," she whispered and I sat up confused. She moved away from me creating distance that I found myself detesting. "Whatever for?" I asked and a small blush appeared on her adorable face. "I can't give what the others can, Cole," her face fell and I sighed, "You are a very physical person and I know that. The whole school knows that...I just... I can't, I am so sorry," My heart clenched. "I want you to know that," she continued, "so that if it's a deal breaker for you..." She paused turning away completely and standing up leaving me alone on the mat she had laid out for us. We were in the library, second floor during free period. Then she started to walk towards the stairs not even sparing me a glance. I shot to my feet, fumbling with the buttons on my shirt, "Julia, dammit wait a second, will ya?" I pleaded and she stopped, her hand holding the door knob so tight her knuckles turned white. "It's not a deal breaker," I sighed surprising both myself and her too. Then she turned uncertain and stared at me in question. "Cole, I am offering you a clean way out, you know that," she stated very articulately, she sounded like she was scolding me, "take it and let's remember this when it was good." "I don't care, Jules." I said walking toward her, "with you, there is no deal breaker, whether you blow me off to study, which you do quite a lot by the way," she chuckled and I swooped in gathering her in my arms feeling every curve the way I liked. "Or fall asleep talking to me on the phone," I placed a kiss on her nose and her blush rose higher, "There is no deal breaker with you,"

"You're hurting me..." I whispered. But his grip only got tighter as the pain got even more crucial. "It's what you get for stopping the party yesterday," Liam said. "I needed to," I murmured under my breath in the hopes that he would hear the weakness in my voice and let me go. But at last, it was only hoped that made me think that way. He didn't let go; he wouldn't let go until he taught a firm lesson. No matter how many times I ask and plead for forgiveness, he is never going to go until he is satisfied. "Were you jealous that you weren't invited? Is that why you had to sabotage the whole thing, uh?" he bit his teeth, his voice getting angrier and his hold on me crushing. "Ow.. please...," I said tears rolling down my eyes. He didn't say anything this time just watched me cry, and I could basically see the smirk forming on his lips in slow motion. This is what he wanted for me as if it was never enough for him to see me like this. I waited for him to say something anything, but instead, he let me go aggressively and pushing past me hard, causing me to lose balance and fall to the marble floor. He's popular. I have one friend. He's outgoing. I'm quiet. He has a girlfriend. I'm alone. I'm shy and he's purely arrogant. But they say like forces repel and opposites attract. And we're complete opposites. ════════ "Hello, my name is Juliette Hunter and I think you're an asshole" I said to him, turning my body away so I could, once again, try and grab the book I so desperately needed. "Your turn" I added, after a moment of silence, realising that he was too stunned to speak. His recovery was lightning fast however, as he replied with "Hi Juliette, my name is Levi Knight" He paused, allowing his eyes to roam my body, slowly taking me in from head to toe. I looked him in the eyes, defiant in not allowing him to get to me, as my cheeks began to burn. "And I think you could qualify as one of the most beautiful girls I have ever laid eyes on" he continued smoothly. I couldn't think of a smart remark in response to what he had said so I mumbled a "fuck off" before returning to the bookshelf, I was sure my face turned crimson. "Just out of curiosity," Levi continued, now leaning against the bookshelf. I wasn't going to warn him about the fact that it was slowly tipping over. "You're single right?" I wasn't going to tell him that his assumption offended me either. Instead I replied with "Just out of curiosity" I said in a mocking tone "You're single now too, aren't you?" "You're a feisty one, aren't you?" "You're not gonna leave me alone, are you?" I muttered, attempting once more, to grab the book I so badly needed for English. "You're really hot, you know?" "You're really annoying, you know?"

Wally found himself glaring as he walked into the school. Shoulders slammed into him and one girl even stepped on his toe with her heel, he was about to shout at her when he recognized her blond hair and purple skirt, telling features belonging to Stephanie Brown A.K.A not someone you want to mess with. He shut his mouth with a click and continued walking when he was suddenly pulled through a door and out of the crowded hallway. ---- "You know bug," he started speaking to the loser to the left of him, "biology is so complicated," he remarked unable to keep the smirk off his face as the nerd reached into his backpack and handed him already finished biology homework with his name signed on the top. "My name isn't bug, it's Jamie!" Dick gave him a charming smile that he was famous for and handed him a forty dollar bill before walking away. ---- "So you're in?" Cameron's tone made him roll his eyes, "I don't know," Roy pretended to hesitate, putting both hands up palms facing the ceiling, "on one hand I get to impress Jade," he raised one hand well Cameron snorted at Roy's expense, "but on the other, I have to hang out with you." ---- "Miss. M'orzz, are you listening?!" Mr. Dent paused his lecture mid-sentence and Megan's head snapped up to attention, with a pout set in place. "I don't get it" she whined, despite understanding the business words and percentages drafted on the whiteboard. Mr. Dent looked thoughtful and raised his view to scan the room before his eyes landed on a student sitting in the back row. ---- Conner easily found the shorter male he was looking for, thanks to his height, he soon joined Dick, Barbara, and Stephanie in the movement of the crowd, sending a very harsh glare to a black haired girl who was rushing in the opposite direction as she was supposed to, towards the back doors of the school, and slammed into Dick, nearly knocking them both to the ground. ---- Co-written with @22shawm Slow updates
