Sophie Grady looked forward to the summers that she spent on Isla Nublar. They were her chance to escape from the real world and spend some time with her brother who trained the raptors there. Every summer for as long as she could remember, her brother would pick her up from the airport on Costa Rica and take her over to the park, and she'd help out where she could. Those summers were times of peace and times for her to get away from the bane of her existence: Zach Mitchell.

You were estatic to join him, but he had refused. He said the job he was assigned to involved deadly animals, ones he wanted you to stay far from.
