The Father looked upon his seven archangels Michael, Gabriel, Raphael, Uriel, Sealtiel, Jehudiel, and Barachiel and blessed them with eternal happiness. 

For Michael, Gabriel, Uriel and Sealtiel, he granted them each a special gift for their bravery against the fight against evil. He took a bit of their spirit, and added them to a blossoming flower, a cup of pure water, a flame of fire and a drop of pure gold. The mixture formed an archress, the four archangels' soul mates, who are equal to them. 

But just when the archress' spirit could solidify, the armies of Lucifer attacked and God sent the spirits away to the land below to hide. In despair, the four archangels begged their Father to allow them to search the earth for their mates and the Father granted them their wish. 

It is now 2013 and Michael has wondered the Earth looking for his mate, his other half, for more than two millenniums. To his despair, he is the only one out of the four, who haven't found his archress. More than anything, he didn't expect to find her in New York City nor did he expect her to be rough and rude.

But there is something about his archress, she is different and she is hiding something.

The Angel of Darkness, that's what she's called. The names Azriel and she is an angel...well she was until she got banned from heaven by her father. When she lived in heaven, it was her and her siblings Castiel, Gabriel, Balthazar, Michael, Lucifer and Anna, her 5 older brothers and older sister. For some odd reason, she's nothing like her siblings. She didn't have the angel powers they possessed, sure she can teleport, hear thoughts and has grace, but she also has the ability to manipulate the darkness...how? Not sure, that's why her father says she must have gotten it from her aunt because she's the darkness... But because of that, she grew to be the outcast of the family, the forgotten one, the quiet one and the one who was always alone. She tried to get close to her siblings and it really only worked with Gabriel and Castiel but not much. But her other siblings would just call her names, she's tried so hard to not let it get to her but being the youngest sibling and wanting affection and love from them? She spent all her nights crying that eventually she became numb so she couldn't feel anymore but she was also consumed by rage that she ended up hurting her siblings and screaming at them for what they did that her father eventually banned her to earth. Since she's been banished to earth, her father stripped her of her powers aside from my telepathy, angel blade and darkness powers and because of that she decides to hurt those who get in her way because her siblings have put her through so much pain, anger and sadness that she just want to kill people...so she's tired of playing the nice angel...time to be bad...so that's why she's now the Angel of Darkness...

He would spend time fooling around with mortals on Earth and spreading bad news to all. Finally God had reached his limit, and banished Jackson to the underworld where he was dammed to rule over the sinner's souls for all eternity. At first, Jackson saw this as a good thing, but soon after he realized that this gave him another reason to hate God. He could no longer do the things he wanted as often as he pleased. He was allowed to go to Earth, but only for short amounts of time to collect souls and punish the dammed. But when Jackson finally finds himself someone to love, what will happen? Yet, amidst the darkness, there remains a flicker of light and goodness that emanates from the depths of the characters' struggles. This tale is purely a work of fiction. It does not depict true biblical accounts, nor does it intend to reference real individuals or places. Any similarities are purely coincidental. I dedicate this book to my dear friend Khail Narisma, who passed away two years ago. One of the characters in this story bears his name, with his kind permission, as a tribute to his memory. Khail was a soul of exceptional grace and warmth lovely soul, a lovely angel.
