The Father looked upon his seven archangels Michael, Gabriel, Raphael, Uriel, Sealtiel, Jehudiel, and Barachiel and blessed them with eternal happiness. 

For Michael, Gabriel, Uriel and Sealtiel, he granted them each a special gift for their bravery against the fight against evil. He took a bit of their spirit, and added them to a blossoming flower, a cup of pure water, a flame of fire and a drop of pure gold. The mixture formed an archress, the four archangels' soul mates, who are equal to them. 

But just when the archress' spirit could solidify, the armies of Lucifer attacked and God sent the spirits away to the land below to hide. In despair, the four archangels begged their Father to allow them to search the earth for their mates and the Father granted them their wish. 

It is now 2013 and Michael has wondered the Earth looking for his mate, his other half, for more than two millenniums. To his despair, he is the only one out of the four, who haven't found his archress. More than anything, he didn't expect to find her in New York City nor did he expect her to be rough and rude.

But there is something about his archress, she is different and she is hiding something.
