The Maze

America is destroyed. New York City has been taken over by the Empire and their secret police, the Authority. Samantha's father was taken by the police, accused of rebelling, and imprisoned in the Maze, a prison in the flooded subway tunnels. Samantha is responsible for her three younger siblings and her insane mother until she is kidnapped by the rebels, a group called the Opposition, and taken to their stronghold, the Statue of Liberty. There she is offered a chance to rescue her father. But the Empire is there, always watching. And Samantha realizes the Opposition isn't much better.
