Noah Rizal is a disabled child living in the shanties. She lives only with her father, and no one else. One day, he takes her to the mall, simple as that.

What happens is that she gets separated from him and dragged into an adventure with two strangers to try and rebel against a corrupt politician that want to rule the country of the Philippines. It's a war for them, but it's not in favor of the children. Noah doesn't understand what's happening at all, and yet, she's trying to help.

Is this the road for a forsaken child?

Nicky thought she got things all figured out. She'd be very good at school and be the valedictorian of the single-section class of 2010 of the highly looked-up science high school in their island. And then, she'd get a full scholarship to her dream university. All was fairly well except for a few things like grappling her feelings towards a long-time crush. Just when Nicky thought she could get through high school without too much boy-drama, a somewhat seemingly love life with a boy or two and suddenly, maybe even three was finally catching up with her during the last few months before high school graduation. She had never thought she could be wrong about a person. And that she could always be wrong about boys... ✨✨✨ Sidenote: I wrote this from November 2010 to April 2011, only a year ahead from the time set in the novel. This was fully uploaded on Wattpad in September 2013 for safekeeping. I hadn't gotten back to it in so many years nor find any means and time to promote it.
