Society loves heroes and hates villains and is blind to vigilantes, viewing them as either unsung heroes or understated villains... I like to believe different. Everyone is human at the end of the day, some are worst or better than others. After all, some humans hide behind the title of hero to get away with horrible things like abuse, murder, theft, negligence, etc... While others hide behind the title of villain to finally be free from terrible pasts or to just simply gain freedom they never had. Then there's others that hide behind the title of vigilante to either save and protect innocents or to get rid of those they deem their enemies. Everyone has reasons and beliefs that lead them to what they aim to do in life. I'm no different. After all... I didn't end up the number one villain in the world for no reason. A virus is was what caused our world to break, what caused the good to become the bad. Kids were being hunted down and captured for this gift that was given to them by that virus. It's been seven years. Parents tried to hide them, but they got killed and took the gifted. No child was safe, from five year olds to basically eighteen. It's the apocalypse for us. You can't trust adults. We don't know why they want from us, but I'm willing to do anything to protect my her. Some gifts are stronger than others, some are weaker than others, some are out of their own control. We don't know why the military wants us but, their not getting us. Many men and women fall victim to the failure to realize the truth behind the proverb. Never do you expect these actions to come out, but they do, and the only measure of the person behind them is why they did it. Now that the future has come to pass. And it is just... as I foresaw. I'll warn you, this is a slightly long synopsis, Yet I tell you, I can see the future; you can get through it all just fine. You won't die three steps short. You should be honored for the time is upon us. And I shall now speak of the one with the name above all names. He was the son of the Soul King. The father of all Quincy. The one called "His Majesty," the one with "The Almighty." He was the ruler of a new world which he prophesied and for which he had prepared to produce. The world he nearly brought to life with his own hands. He was the king who gave and took away. In giving his all to create paradise, all would be taken away from him for the world to be saved. He was made the new lynchpin, indeed. In reality, his endeavor to actualize a complete future... ultimately led him to repeat history. How ironic that the king of Quincy, whose methods were against the cycle of life and death, would then become the one used to continue the cycle of life and death. He was certainly no black ant; all powers dwell in names... and thus, you would be wise to never ever think he was one without his own. His name was YHWACH. The Unit
The World is dying... The planet is being consumed by the people it was made for. When the resources finally run out, will Governments be able to maintain control? When the population is fighting for survival, will the police hold authority? When it's every man for himself, will the law be upheld? It wasn't... by the year 2027 democracy was just a three-syllable word that held no more power than freedom. The World was run by those who were willing to get their hands dirty, the people who did everything and anything to survive. The globe was shrouded in the shadow of man and all his greed, the greens and blues so prevalent tarnished by a host more interested in profit than protecting or prolonging the planet. When desperation takes over, what will be left of our humanity? Nothing... The race would've extinguished itself, killed itself off for the last scraps of a world they stomped out. A human-sized footprint, the only reminder of our toxic presence. We would've been nothing more than a memory if not for the Unit. The Unit saved us. The Unit saved the World. This made everyone assume that power corrupts, but I disagree with this statement. Izuku We had our entire life planned. We were going to continue to climb the ladder, get married, and have a family. But the longer we were together, the more followers we had, it all started to fade in the background. It was photoshoots, restaurant openings, trend after trend, and eventually, I had less time to see my family, less time for the things I had wanted to do. When I got a strange DM from a guy, warning me about the man I sleep beside every night, I ignored it and trusted him. But when I got ahold of his phone for the first time in years, it was hard to ignore what I already knew. Katsuki I love my life. The run-down one bedroom house that three of us share isn't exactly my favorite thing, but it's home and sharing it with Denki and Eijiro makes it feel more live able than it really is. Money's tight and we don't have a lot, but we have love, loyalty, and friendship-something that's increasingly harder to come by in LA. The DM I got from an apparent rising influencer is proof of that. On top of the various platforms he uses, his entire Instagram page is dedicated to him and his boyfriend.
