"Enough sleeping!" My brother shouts as he rips away my blanket from my body. I wave my hands frantically in the attempts of snatching back the blanket.
"Alex, let me sleep," I murmur while stuffing my face deeper into the pillow. The pillow's so soft, so comforting. I thank god every day for making them so soft and comfy.
"You have school in like an hour, ladybird," He says in a stern voice, acting like the dad he is not.
"In an hour!?!!"I shout and jump out of my bed as soon as his words register in my excuse of a brain.
"What the fu-" I start to say but he cuts me off and says in a British tone, "No cursing in my house, young lady!"
"Alex, you're not my dad and neither are you a good actor," I state while glancing around for my slippers. School's starting again today after spring break and I surely don't want to be late for the first day after the break.
"A man can try," He mutters and sighs dramatically.
I smile at him and pinch his cheeks to which he smacks my hand away.
"A man can try and so can he succeed because There always comes a day," I grin at him using my as Alex defines 'moral of life' line at him.
"Always," He says his face matching the same grin on my face, and I reply back to him with the same spirit, confidence, and potential in my voice, "Always,"
A wise man, aka my dad, once said to me,"Mira dear, no matter what happens in your life, whatever the situation is, always remember that there always comes a day. Always,"
And since he said that to me, I've been eagerly waiting for that day.
Not only because I have faith in myself, and God but because I know that, that wise man never lied and I believed that wise man more than anything.
(Yes, there always comes a day is back. Wait for the the first chapter, it will be updated soon!)
