A typical friendgroup in highschool , they're just trying to survive Highschool but they have to survive more than just that

What if, humans became the most gruesome weapons? And the circle of life seemed scarier than death. Everything you once knew was gone. There's days where you'd ask yourself 'could today get any worse?' and then one day it did. It was something that took everyone by surprise, it took everyone. You could count a girl that survives it lucky but I question would it be better that I was dead. --------- Embark on a apocalypse with a girl who lived a cruel life before the world started dying. Through the journey she'll need more than what she's given, loose those who found her and find hope in the hopeless.

It was a single teenage mistake that led to a very big mistake,and now am paying for my mistake. I have looked for the man infront of me for many years,but now that I have found him,he is looking at me totally dumbstruck because he doesn't remember,I doubt if he even knows me. I can still remember the way my dad kept beating me,the pain of the beating and the pain in my heart intensifying,but my answer was still the same. "I don't know." Why? Because it was only ONE NIGHT. Because of one night, I have to learn about life the hardest way. 3rd place winner in random category of dark academia awards 2021!

It was cold and dark. I had to find shelter. I saw an abandoned restaurant and thought that that'd be a nice place to wait out the storm at. Little did I know that I wouldn't be allowed to leave. Ever.

This story was written by me when I was around 17-18, as a contest entry for Animax Asia Story/Manga writing competition. It did not win any brownies, but I still thought I should put it up somewhere. I have not edited or changed the contents since then, to do justice to memories of where things started. P.S: That means, the language and grammar can be off at many places.

all of the light went out. i could see the light but i could never walk towards it. i loved the feel of the sun...but i was never allowed in it. i wouldnt melt like the others, and i wouldnt sparkle like the others and i would criple in pain. i would fight it...but i didnt want to hurt those closest to me, thats why i didnt let him in. we were so close, they all thought that we were together...even he was confused. i was confused...i cannot afford to hurt him. he means so much to me and yet i have only known him for such a little time. i guess to escape the darkness...all i need to do is open my eyes.
