With a palaeontologist for a father and a paleobotanist as a mother, Keira's life is strictly dino-related from the time of her birth and it comes as no surprise when she decides to follow in the steps of her parents. However, Alan and Ellie never anticipated that their daughter would be roped into the same trap that they had fallen into all those years before. With the opening of Jurassic World theme park, Keira is lured to the appeal of working with the creatures she has learned so much about over the years, along with the promise from the park itself that things will be different this time around. With new safety precautions put into place, along with advanced technology, Jurassic World is deemed safe and the park is opened with Keira working among the herbivores on site.
