Gaara sees an apparition only he can see at the same time he's accused of something other then murder. The forth Kazekage finds the behavior of his youngest child strange, and finds himself pressured by both the council as well as the need to fix things with Konoha.

Disclaimer - I don't own Naruto. This was started for the July 2015 #justwriteit challenge based on the first weekly prompt from the user:ParanormalCommunity due to the idea in my head becoming more then just a one-shot.

Note - This is an AU where the Forth Kazekage lives.

I didn't do anything wrong. His blood red hair and sea foam eyes... Looking down to the ground as he held onto a small teddy on the swings. He visibly panicked "N- No stop! Don't come any closer! Don't hurt me!" My eyes snapped to his, hurt him? "Why?" I asked simply. He looked at me, then my hand on his shoulder, "Wh-Why what?!" I registered his worry, "Why would I hurt you?" I answered back. We were the same. We were the exact same.
