Louis Calmir is the prince of Eltonwood, and he is turning 17 which is the ideal age to get married in his kingdom. He is praised and congratulated by everyone for the welcoming of marriage. But  Louis is a little different then everyone, he is lazy, sarcastic and thinks of love as a bother.  He is soon arranged to be married to his childhood friend, Elizabeth (a.k.a Lizzy). He at first does not like this but then later on accepts this and is ready to get it over with.

Then suddenly at his birthday banquet  he sees him, the boy who will change his whole life for better or worse, William Darkwing  the prince of Dragonia, William and Louis meat once before and lets just say they didn't hit it off.

Will Louis finally find something worth his while in his life or will he be stuck weak willed(puns lol) , And when darkness arises in the kingdom, Louis will finally learn who he can trust.
