When Lissa saves Dimitri from the clawed grasps of the darkness in being a Strigoi, everything changes. Dimitri no longer harbours feelings for Rose, and there borne the words, "Love fades, mine has." But contrary to the book, Dimitri actually meant it. 

Lissa changed too. In all eyes of the academy, Christian and Lissa were still the Star Couple, but behind the scenes, Lissa might not be the perfect, faithful girl everyone knows. 

What could've happened to cause this? Rose and Christian were pushed together by fate and coincidence. They will journey together, and find that their love, in the end, all started as revenge.
