Who ever knew that something so wrong, something never meant to be, could feel so right? Could feel so.... Promising?

After the war, Hermione Granger seemed to be the mentally bruised member of the trio. Harry was physically bruised, but masked it with a glistening smile, and Ron was emotionally bruised, grieving over the loss of Fred. Difficulties and differences drove Hermione and Ron apart, but only made things more difficult with others. Hermione, for years did not know, that the key she was looking for, was standing right next to her, preferably on her left, through it all.

Crossroads

14 parts Complete

Harry didn't know what to expect after the war ended but he definitely didn't expect to be filled with such bitterness and emptiness. For the first time in his life, Harry Potter was purposeless. Add in the fact that he had lost the one constant in his life to his best mate, Harry was hellbent on finding a new purpose for his existence. Even if it meant leaving the people he loved behind. Disclaimer: I do not own Harry Potter nor it's affiliated characters. That honor belongs to J.K Rowling.
