Carson was going with her mom to the groccery store. They were just going there and back to get a few things. What they did get was a car crash. One that ended a life. After Carson`s mom died she goes off the deep end. She startes hanging out with the wrong peopole, and getting involved with the wrong things, and becomes the badass feared person in her school. She still visits her moms grave every day but a thirteen year old girl sitting criss cross, dressed in black, with percings and a tattoo, at a grave talking is bound to catch someones attention. And it does.
Nineteen Derek just started his job working at the local grave yard trying to make some extra cash. One day he spots a young girl sitting at a grave and talking. he aproaches the girl and they start to become friends. She opens up to him. They form a brother sister relationship. They start meeting every day at her mothers grave and just talk. Carson actually smilles and laughs with him. One day Carson doesn`t showup. Derek knows something is up.
