Sofia First is about to go into the 11th grade with her best friends Jade Acres and Ruby Henshaw at Magically Royal High School.

They've been BFF's since they were only 3.

On weekends, the three of them work at Sunny Sweets Cafe, because Sofia's mother works at a shoe store, and her salary is small.

In the summer, Sofia and James Enchantcia start falling in love, and then become a couple.

James is the dream boy; he joins every sport at school, is sweet, is smart, and not to mention the hottest guy in school!

There are a lot of difficulties, like the fact that James' twin sister Amber has some friends from cheerleading, and they are a bit in love with James.

After a few months of dating, it seems as if the twins' widowed father, Roland, and Sofia's single mother, Miranda, are falling in love.

A few months later, they're marrying.

Miranda and Roland don't really like the idea of the future step-siblings to be dating.
