To be born into the world, To age until death, to die and become a soul. That is the law of life in which all living beings must follow. Breaking that law means that you have stepped off the wheel of life and have lost your self in darkness never to see the light of earth again. Amelia was reborn into this world as a child with talent and beauty, but there was something different about her that would upset the whole balance of earth. She had retained memories from her previous life and could understand things that no other human being could; but in exchange for those memories she has lost half of her soul to the darkness beyond the wheel. A being without a whole soul cannot live on the earth for long. The being will soon belong to the spirits of the world and will cease to ever live again. Now, Amelia will travel with her companions, each with their own goal to find the heavens. A robot with human emotions and a whole load of sarcasm and insults, a boy who has lost his memory, a girl who can see lies, a mortal boy born with a wing of an angel and a wing of a devil, and a young maiden looking for the true history of the world. All with one big goal, to find the heavens.
