Capable and bright literature student Martha Shaw is growing tired of her college. She's bored of her courses, her professors and, increasingly, life. With her friend Katy, Martha harbours a love for The Lincolns, the world's most successful boy band, and this love has become the driving force that gets Martha through the day.

Danny Risinger is The Lincolns' frontman, literally adored by millions and living his ultimate dream, but life on tour with his band mates, Zak, Max and Luke has been unexpectedly isolated. In spite of all the people in the world that love him, Danny feels alone but, unbeknownst to him, the world tour is the catalyst that will throw him and Martha together.

As they embark on a relationship in the public eye, Martha and Danny discover the consequences of their romance and the dramatic repercussions for them and for the people they love..
