Ever since Alisha was young she saw the world as two polar opposites, like a scale about to tip over any second. She sees the obesity and starvation, the wealthy and the poor, they masters and the servants, to name a few.
Unfortunately, when Alisha goes out to make a change no one believes her because she's too young according to them. They call her delusional (some even call her crazy) and tell her it's impossible for a single person to make a change.
So when she finally meets a boy who understands her sentiments, she's delighted! She overlooks the fact that he may have a few secrets that can undermine her entire goal in life. The police show up, she's arrested and she still doesn't know a single reason why.
Will Alisha be able to overcome the rigid obstacles in her path? Will she find out the boy's secrets and trust him when all her best laid plans go awry?
Even though this story is set in India, it is open to everyone around the globe. Especially those who have no ties to India (like me)!
