They offered union with earth, and we accepted. but that ended when Bortheus of the Xylons killed a human child. This started war, and the Humans and the Xylonians where forbidden to see eachother again. But, in secret, they continued. Sometimes they even had children. to the Xylons, they were welcomed, for Xylonians still wished for cooperation with humans. The halfs were called Fallen to the Xylons. And to the humans? The halfs, to the humans, where called; "Half-breed scum." For you see, humans despised the Xylons, and all of their children. But, maybe human hearts can change?

A murderous pack trespassed onto their land and took one after another down, soon enough, Harmony was surrounded by blood of her friends, lifeless bodies surrounded her. She was kept alive but not for pleasant reasons as the alpha of the murderous pack, Alpha Dominic decided to keep her as a punching bag for his anger. She becomes malnourished, weak and mute. After about 2 and a half years of dealing with this Alpha Dominic someone whisks her away again as her second mate as she was rejected before. They have their ups and downs but nothing is compared to what they have in stored, the new roller coaster they must ride to have a happily ever after, if you can call it that. I know the book starts slow, that's how I wanted it to be, to build to the exciting parts. It may be a drag, I know but it'll be worth it when the book speeds up with the roller coaster that Harmony has to ride, so to speak. Give it time and it'll spike your interest.
