"Carl! Wait!" I shouted, struggling to keep up with him.
"I can't wait if it's a race" he looked back at me, smirking. "You're far off from winning"
"Stop teasing me!" I whined, hoping he'd give in and slow down.
The train tracks were old and rusty, quite sticky too. I wondered how he kept balance on there and almost 2 miles infront of me.

Hello! So I've been asked to write a walking dead fanfiction a couple times now, I know the series is over but never late then ever am I right? With that being said TWD is a long ass series I'm not sure how long I'll do this for. I am starting by season one of the series just cause it makes more sense and gives me more wiggle room for developments. Some things will change from the original plot, if you don't like it then I'm sorry but don't read it. Eventually I'll stray away from writing word by word of what the characters say, just cause it's a lot to go back and forth to watch the episode to see what exactly was said and done. WARNING: This fanfic will be mature, which means there's gore, SEX and other mature themes. There will be no warnings it'll just happen. So, if you get squeamish at sex then don't read. If you don't like gore...then why are you reading a zombie fanfic? DISCLAIMER: I do not own TWD or its characters. I only own my own. This is a fan fiction after all. Daryl Dixon is completely on his own. After the Saviors burn down Alexandria, he thinks that he is the only survivor. Living without the group that he has come to love, has left him as nothing more than a shell of the man he used to be. One day after a brutal fight, he stumbles upon a run-down shack in the woods. As he lay dying on the dirty floor, his life is saved by a complete stranger. These two loners find that living life together is so much better than doing it alone. I haven't written a story in the first person since Broken. It's not as easy as it sounds, but I enjoyed the challenge. This story has taken me months to write and I finished it just days after the Season 8 midseason finale. Any similarities to that episode are pure coincidence. I wrote the chapter (You'll know which one) months before Season8 even started. For anyone that is newly following me or reading my books, I write differently than most. Let me know, I would love to chat and even share ideas <3 Daryl Dixon×Fem!Reader Things in the reservoir camp had stayed relatively quiet. Apart from some of the arguments that'll break out but you can only expect that when strangers take shelter together. Y/n was a survivor of the city, brought in by Glenn. You were thankful for the kindness from the stranger but the same behavior wasnt shared from the rest of the group. Supplies are tight and tension gets high everytime a newcomer is brought in. The Dixon brothers dont miss a beat to make sure and cause a scene, going on and on about supplies and how thin we are stretched. The speeches have droned on but no one listens to them, especially when they come from a couple hillbillies. Days went by the same, hardly any words spoken your direction unless it was snarky comment or small talk from Glenn. Changes started taking place when a fellow named Rick Grimes showed up.Complete
