Michael is a new student at Bradburry High, having moved from California all the way to Maine over Christmas break. He's kinda shy, which doesn't help with making friends. However, he's managed to make a few. Mel, a 17 year old, hopeless romantic and a 27 year old Mr. Alastair. Unlike Mel though, Michael finds himself hopelessly attracted to his mysterious and teasing history teacher. He isn't totally sure he likes the idea, but it's proving very difficult to say no to his feelings, creating a very intense atmosphere for the young Mr. Kindsley. It doesn't get any easier, having fallen in love with a man coming from a dark past.
