Love Happens to Heal the Scars

Aria Rutherford is a seventeen year old student who argues and fights all the time at school ever since she was a child. Everyone, including her best friend, think that's just who she is. While that is true, there is a bigger reason for this. Back at home, she is treated badly by her parents, believing everything that they say that would lead her to not caring about herself. Even if she appears as though she is strong in school, it's a whole different story back at home.

Within the first week of her sophomore year, it changes when her English teacher, Mr Reynolds, whom she has hated ever since he had started teaching her class since she started her junior year, finds out; he tries to help her out despite their differences.

What happens when he helps her realise that everything that her parents have said about her are just words and that she can be more than what they say she is? Can love be a way to heal her scars? Will she be able to get her happy ending? All the while dodging all the obstacles in their way.
