Josephine Drake was a girl with no friends. She sat alone in the corner, reading a book. Luca Don was always getting in to trouble. Until their third grade teacher paired them up. Luca brought Josephine right out of her shell . Since then they have never been separated, until an accident during the summer before freshman year rips them apart. Now it's senior year and a chance encounter brings them back together. Can they bring each other out of their previous shells like they did, or is the past too hard to overcome? And if they can overcome the past can Luca defend Josephine from his present.
