“Thanks.” I smiled politely at the cashier and took the bouquet of roses in my hand. I walked out of the store and hopped into my Mustang GT, placing the roses on the passenger’s seat and started driving.
Before I knew it, I found myself at Addison’s house. I put the car in park and reached over to the passenger’s seat to grab the flowers. I looked back up out the window and froze.
Heartbreak. I saw Addison give this boy a kiss as he was leaving her house. She smiled sweetly and waved at him goodbye as he walked off of the porch.
I quickly sunk in my seat, hoping she didn’t notice me. Seconds later, I looked back up and didn’t see Addison at her door anymore. I grew furious. I didn’t care anymore. I threw the roses out the window and started my car, running over them. How could she move on so quickly? At that moment, my whole world tore apart. I loved her but now I lost her.
