Ara has no rights because she is a girl. Her society is patriathical. It is against the law to go out at day or night without a cloak covering you. It is impossible to learn language or knowledge. It is treasonous for a women or girl to speak or revolt. Ara is different, all the other women in the society are stupid, blindly following the mens rule, but Ara is wise, wiser than the rest, she knows no knowledge only wisdom. She knows words, but not how to speak them. She knows numbers, but does not know how to write them.
One day Ara goes out to fetch water and meets a boy her age and everything changes... Two children. Two worlds. Two stories.
