I could sense the defeat in his voice, I could also sense the hurt, I hated seeing him like this, it hurts me just as much as it hurts him, if not even more.
Serena is not your typical girly girl nor is she your typical badass, she's sort of a mix of both, she can be the sweetest person you meet or your worst nightmare, it all depends on how you treat her. She has her girl best friend Hannah & her guy best friend Cole. They are the people she trusts most. Serena has many other friends that she occasionally socializes with, but she doesn't trust anyone with anything except for her 2 best friends. As weird as it may be Cole & Hannah aren't that close, no they aren't enemies but you wouldn't exactly call them best friends. Cole is your typical player, he has never had a real relationship and doesn't plan on getting into one anytime soon. Hannah is the adorable awkward one, she doesn't really care for social events or people for that matter, she's kind of shy at first but once you get to know her she'll open up to you and let you in. Everything was fine in Serena's life until things or should I say people began to complicate it. Will she be able to get through those complications? Or will she have to let some people go to get through them? One thing's for sure, letting go of her best friend is not an option.

This story is not always going to make sense, ive been sporadically writing it for the past year ish and its more of a vent book then something to be taken seriously. Im sure between the months alot of details have been missed or forgotten, but i have tried to stay as consistent as possible despite. The full story is stretched out over a few different books. Having watched his wife die right in front of him in a devestating car accident, he found himself unsure of if he was still fit to raise his boys. Hell, Phil was unsure of alot now a days. So when he got the call asking if he was willing to take in a severely abused young girl, Phil almost said no.
