Max Larson is a relic hunter in a human galactic empire where the only aliens found are long extinct. However, he's going to find more than treasure in an ancient temple he's exploring, and this discovery will put him on the trail of the biggest score of all time, if he can survive.
NOTE: This is my side project while I'm working on Book 3 of The Only City Left. Whereas with that book, I'm juggling three POVs and multiple characters and plots that I need to bring to a solid close, here I'm goofing off and having fun. So this is unedited and may be full of plot holes as I go along.

My friend at school told me he was writing a book called this but didn't know what it was going to be about, so I said "why don't we both write a version of it and then compare them to see what we each did differently," so this is it! This story is about a man called max who dies in an accident and finds himself on a giant spaceship. Where a select few go to look eternally for the gem of thunder, and nobody has obtained it yet. This book is getting a rewrite! I am not satisfied with how it turned out, and it needs reworking for me to finish off the storyline.Complete
