Phil has always been cold and distant, unable to make friends. Until he transfers to Edison academy, a school for the rich. He is picked on by the wealthy students at the school for being less fortunate than them. He only got in because of his grades. Then he meets Dan, a kind wealthy boy who makes it his mission to become Phil's friend. But when Dan's feelings for Phil soon change from friendly to romantic, will Phil push him away? Or will he return those feelings?

That does matter though because Phil isn't interested and he makes that clear or at least that's how it starts.
