It's only been a little over a week since Taylor Aurelia and her friends defeated The Dark One, wiping him from existence entirely, and the Sea has been at peace ever since.  But not for Taylor and her friends.

For some reason, a week after they fought with The Dark One, they have not been able to form their tails on contact with water.  None of them know why, and so they have not been able to return to the Sea since.  With their tails gone, they're just ordinary Human beings.

And they don't like it one bit.

Taylor refuses to give up hope of regaining each of their Mer halves AND their tails, and so sets out on her own to the rest of the Kingdoms to seek help when she finds out who it is exactly that has stolen she and her friends' Mer halves.

Before Lucia tries to get out of the water, she was suddenly transformed into a mermaid by the two white witches. There are two ways to break the spell before her time is up by the next month. If Lucia gets a kiss by the merman, she'll be a mermaid for all eternity. If the princess gets a kiss from the prince on land, she will be human again. If not, she will be lost in the world of water. Will Lucia see her family again as a mermaid? How is she going to reach them if she can't swim as a mermaid? Princess Lucia was new to be a mermaid.
