Kimberly Simmons was the girl with the magical tattoo. No seriously it literally appeared on her arm and brought her powers. This tattoo is the reason to why her father betrayed her. 

After escaping the people who are after her she soon finds out there are others just like her. With the help of her older cousin, his roommate, and an orphan they start their search for the other kids like them. 

This is a story about betrayal, friendship, death, and love. But nothing Kimberly would have ever expected.
