Humanity never saw it coming. 
      
      The Traveler brought the Golden Age. Cures from sickness, new technology, new weapons, Exos, everything came from this Age. Humans could travel into space and terraform planets to make way for colonies. The intergalactic empire began. It was an era of greatness and peace. 
      
      Then, the chaos hit. The Darkness and what was hidden inside of it caused the collapse. The intergalactic empire was brought to shambles. Cities crumbled. Billions of people died. Humanity was on the brink of extinction. 
      
      And to think, it all started because of three guardians.
      
      *The story of the collapse isn't included in the video game, so if you haven't played it, it doesn't matter. I explain concepts and key things the game has, but other than that, this is all of my own works. This is my favorite fan fiction to write by far, so I hope you enjoy it as well!

What helps him is every piece of the old world that he finds about himself or perhaps life before him, how they used to live, what he used to be, along with his fireteam, Boris and Chase. It wasn't until the Vault of Glass, did life seem to change for him... a new world needed exploring... was it is destiny, or was it... tragedy? (The initial story is a Destiny 1, you read right, OLD DESTINY ONE, fanfiction. The what-if stories are DESTINY 2 fanfictions, played by different classes.) P.S. This story is mature, expect sexual content, lemons, violence, extreme violence, bad humor, and maybe dark stuff. P.P.S. A story about this person's guardian and the K/DA? What a nerd! Except... my character in D1 is Awoken, so not quite.

Living in poverty, they did not have to opportunity to enjoy the luxuries of the Golden Age, which was graciously provided to them by the Traveler. However, after having fallen victim to the Collapse, they were both reawakened as Guardians. Forming the fireteam Hidden Power, with the help of a curious Exo Huntress and a sarcastic human Warlock, they fought to purge the Darkness in the name of the Traveler. ~~~ This was first video game fanfic. My obsession towards Destiny, and adoration towards the "Chronicles of a Warlock" series by @bad-juju inspired me to write my own fanfiction, and I'm pretty happy with how it all turned out. I own most of the characters in this story but not the entire story (story belongs to Bungie), except a few sections of it. Well, if you played the game, you can figure out what's mine and what isn't XD I hope you enjoy :)

The guardians are an ancient race that once ruled over Westeros. They were made mainly to protect, keep the peace and later on to defeat the white walkers that posed a huge threat to their country. When the Targaryens had won the Iron Throne, the tables turned on the guardians as all of them were wiped out in a matter of months. Elena Snow always thought that she was the only guardian left. It was when Ned Stark had taken her in to protect his family for the rest of her life that she found out that she was kept alive for a reason, that reason being to protect Robb Stark from the guardian they called the Dark One. So I basically wrote this book because I hate it that Robb died. I decided to add a complete new storyline to it but to also follow the original plotline. Btw, this is somewhat multifandom... Like there are characters such as Steven and Sam, Louis etc. that are from a lot of other fandoms. So expect a lot of references! I do not own the characters in this book, exept for Elena Snow (and a whole lot of others tbh, mainly the guardians). All the rights go to George R. R. This story is the last in a ten-book series based on the video game franchise, "Destiny," developed by Bungie. The universe of Destiny is a science-fictional setting taking place in the future, where Humanity has been reduced to a singular city on Earth, and must rely on the Guardians, Humans who wield a power known as the Light, to defend them from various alien threats within the Sol system. This saga is NOT intended to be 100% lore accurate, and should be taken as an alternate timeline from the main canon. The primary purpose of this fanfiction is to re-tell the story that takes place in Destiny and its sequel, Destiny 2, but with a twist. The twist being that the playable "Guardian" character, who is known to be a blank-slate one-man-army amongst a roster of developed characters, is instead a team of multiple Guardians who all have their own backstories and personalities. The plot of this saga will follow the plot of the game its based on closely, but not exactly. Our planet had changed quite a bit in the past 50-60 years. Most financially extractable petroleum had been drained clean by 2048, and like insects to the light, coal soon followed. I mean, it was never meant to be a problem; most estimates said we'd find viable alternatives by then. But we were so preoccupied with getting the last barrel of oil out, we never stopped to ask what we'd do after it was out. And now, we had to look up and wonder if our place was among the stars, or on the burning dust. --- Sci-Fi Adventure inspired heavily by Christopher Nolan's Interstellar.
