Katie Benton was the girl your parents would tell you to stay well away from, the type of girl you might even cross the road to avoid. Her quick temper and sharp tongue made her intimidating to say the least.

Yet, her glimmering emerald eyes were enough to lure you into the most ironic illusion of safety and pure innocence. Enough to fool almost anyone who didn't know her into thinking she was a heaven-sent angel before quickly morphing into the devil's spawn in the flesh.

An older brother on the police force certainly gave her a dangerous advantage, making her almost invincible. But what happens when his patience finally runs out?

Talon Danvers would probably be one of the most dangerous young adults you'd ever meet, yet his beloved mother and sister would be the first to swear on his heart of gold. Not that anyone would believe them of course.

You could try angrily yelling at him; he'll just flash you a slow, taunting smirk.

You could even attempt throwing a few punches, but you should probably be prepared for a few broken limbs and a disfigured face, and yet throughout the whole ordeal he'll remain detached, or at the very most, smug.

What was that about a heart?

So imagine the absolute catastrophe of them meeting in the most suitable of places and the drama that follows both of their hot-tempered, stubborn personalities.
