"Why can't I shift? Every wolf turns on their 18th birthday but here I am still basically a fucking human. How can I take my fathers place without my wolf?
Chinwe:
"You are not going to KILL me", she screamed at the top of her voice like a banshee cast down to hell as she continued to whip me. As I was launched into pain greater than a thousand deaths, again I wondered why a woman I called "nne", mother, would do this to me. As the afternoon passed into the evening, the stream of my blood continued to flow and i slowly passed out, as the minutes turned to hours and days until the world had riveted into an endless cycle of eternity with no sense of time or space.
