I was born with a silver spoon in my mouth, I belong to those who have everything but are taking it all completely for granted. I was chosen to be one of them but I never really was offered another option, this is my life, this is who I grew up to be, I learned how to accept my fate and just dealt with it.
My friends and I are bathing in the chosen ones' luxury, not because we worked our asses off to get here, no , we didn't earn it as the stunning models or actors did or as musical prodiges or mathematical geniuses did, we are BORN TO IT.
We have everything anyone could possibly wish for yet we couldn't be less grateful for it.
Welcome to our routine, where we live and go to school and sleep-sometimes with each other, we all own humongous flats all equipped with private bedrooms, bathrooms and phone lines. Free acces to money, booze and whatever else we want was granted to us since our early years of adolescence and our parents were barely living with us so we had as much freedom as one could have. We got the brains and the classic good looks courtesy of our genes, we dress fantastically well and we know how to give a good party.
I live in a world where success is valued by the amount of money stocked in your bank account, and what designer you're wearing. For them success meant having to detach yourself from human feelings and standing tall and rigid, bullet proof. I live in a world where being in love doesn't figure amongst our many characteristics and where wearing your heart on your sleeve could only lead to defeat, therefore falling in love was forbidden. Only I made this unforgiveable mistake and I enjoyed every second of it. I fell in love, it was pure, it was deep and it felt so unreal. It was that kind of love where you're willing to destroy a bit of yourself for the sake of the other... Even if they're no good for you.
