Music Note is a young pegasi filly that was born in the city of Cloudsdale, Equestria. The only thing that stands in her way is her tragic childhood that still haunts her daily thoughts as a mare. As a filly, Music Note wants to find a talent that has something to do with music in honor of her mother's love for music. Sadly, only one pony left standing in her way of her dreams is her abusive father with no supportive mother to help defend her. Music Note's only real dream was to truly be happy again in this sad little thing called life.

They also cast a spell onto both of the twins so that neither of them would remember that they even had a twin.
