DISCONTINUED From the Author of Cinderella in High Tops comes The Book Of Perfect. What would you do to become Perfect? For Allie, it was all she ever wanted. Being known as "The Fat Loser" all of her middle school life, Allie planned to start her high school year with a clean slate. Allie had a plan. She shed her fat body into the perfect barbie doll figure, turn her muddy brown hair dyed to gold and every cent would be poured into the latest fashion trends. Nothing from her former, miserable life would be left after the summer. But being perfect is never that easy. After messing up her hair and losing most of her clothes in a dry-cleaning accident, Allie was left with orange hair and baggy clothes. For her, it was the end of the world. However, when Allie finds a book that will change her life around, she quickly learns that being perfect comes with a price. But is she willing to pay it?

*Basically what I would've done differently if the franchise was mine. This is an abbrieviated description. Please make sure to read the disclaimer and notes at the front of the book.* Every year, millions of dolls are created for the sole purpose of making children happy. Those that can pass through quality control undergo rigid training at the Institute of Perfection, in hopes that one day they'll be able to meet the Institute's high standards and be allowed to pass through the portal to a child of their own. And the ones that don't? Well, they go to Uglyville, a judgment-free paradise where life is one continuous party. That is, for now. The winds of change are blowing, both for the Institute and for Uglyville. But this story isn't about the inner working of a toy factory. It isn't about how a group of would-be rejects made a statement that the Institute of Perfection would not soon forget. It's not even about how dolls all around the factory learned to love themselves for who they truely are. It's about Moxy. It's about Uglydog. It's about Mandy. It's about Wage. It's about Babo. It's about Lucky Bat. It's about Ox. And yeah, it's about Lou too. This is their story. And it all begins... Today.
