After being left at the front porch of an orphanage when she was just an infant, Luna does not know much about the outside world. The only life she has ever know is the one she has lived within the walls of the orphanage. However, just as her thirteen birthday approaches, her life changes and she is suddenly thrusted into the real world. Life outside of the orphanage is different and full of new experiences and people she's never met. She soon learns to adjust and life becomes a new normal for her until the winter solstice three years later. Luna will learn who she truly is and have to make many life- changing decisions. But who is Luna? Why was she left in the orphanage all those years ago? And what is hidden within the life that she once lived and the life she was supposed to live?
