A crystal of great power was once entrusted to a fair Elven princess. As civil war struck, the elven empire crumbled before her very eyes. Desperate to keep the stones safe after her death, she split it into five pieces. Four of those pieces were scattered to the four corners of the earth. These crystals wait patiently for the youth that will be honored with the title and burden of Carrier. Four Carriers will come together and unite the four stones. Ezra is a sick twisted creature that defiled the royal throne and cursed the royal name. Whether they can save the world depends on whether they can survive themselves. Mature rating for blood, gore and depictions of violence. TW: mentions of drunkards and beer, mention of physical abuses, a description of trypophobia, claustrophobia, and other phobias, and descriptions of nasty cryptids. There is no depictions or allusions of sex, no f-bombs, or drug abuse. This story was started when I was in seventh grade. I finished the original when I was a senior in high school. Displeased with the finished product, I began to rewrite it here, starting June 2015, then again in 2020. I am quite satisfied with the result, and am sure this will be the final edition. This isn't the first book of the series, but there's no spoilers for 'The World is Larger than it Seems', so you can start on this one. The story is far from finished, however, and I hope to eventually finish the series.
