Serena Carson has always had a way with people. It's as if she's a cat charming a snake, which in a way, she is. Serena is a Bodmin or more correctly a were-cat. Her glowing cat eyes are what draw in those around her. She works as a receptionist at a pediatrician's office. One day she's called in to sooth a patient. A single look from her to the small child calmed him instantly. The mother offers her a job as a live in nanny, desperate for a few moments away from the young child.
Chase Garnier has allowed his sister and nephew to move in with him. In the day, he works as a computer technician. At night he hunts the things that go bump in the dark to sell their fur or any other valuable parts on the black market. Everything changes when he meets the new nanny.
