"Alex, are you sure you'll be safe?" I say while clinging on to her arm. Seeing her go is one of the hardest things I have to do, God knows how long it will be until I see her again or even hear from her, but if she can make it I know I'll try like hell to do the same.
"I'll be perfectly fine, I will be back and we will be together again I promise, it's just something I have to do."
"But I don't want you to go at all," I say with tears in my eyes. Alex meant the world to me, this trip to Bali could mean many things, her getting caught by the police, her getting killed or her finding someone else and deciding I just wasn't for her.
"I know Pipes," She says as she pulls me in for a final embrace. " But I will be back, because you wanna know why?" She asks me almost expecting me to know the answer.
"Why Al?"
"Because I love you and I will do anything in my power to see you again." She says before locking her lips with mine and I say in almost a whisper,
"I love you too Alex, I'm going to miss you like crazy." And that's when they called her flight and I had to let her go. As hard as it would be I would wait, I needed to wait because for someone like her I know that it will be worth it.
