I guess you could say this is just another typical line of sad lives that happened to cross paths at Mayberry High School. But when these seemingly very different people get paired up for a project it makes them realize that they aren't as different as they seem to be. In fact they are so alike it's terrifying.

The boys are looking to adopt a child, and they think Oliver and Jay would be the perfect fit. What'll happen to Oliver and Jay? Will Jay continue her self-destructive ways? Will the girls get adopted by the boys? Can the girls overcome their nightmares, panic attacks etc, and become 'normal' teens? But with their dark history following them at every corner, making new friends can't be on their list. Matter of fact, it isn't an option. Especially when their attitudes are what drive people away rather than in. Not like they're complaining though. When these eight students get paired up for an end of the year assignment, they encounter a lot of drama that will test their relationships to the max. What will happen to them? Can they grow comfortable with each other? Can these troubled teens even be friends in the first place?
