Frank didn't feel extraordinary. If anything, he felt betrayed. Betrayed by the people who promised to look after him. Care for him. Help him. They abused him on a regular basis just to make him bleed and quite honestly, Frank was getting sick of it.

The last thing Gerard needed was an unexpected guest. He could barely provide for himself and his brother, and to have another person to look after was the least of his worries. But the poor boy was a bleeding mess on the floor and he had no choice but to take him in.

I felt like I was in a bad dream and couldn't wake up, everything was spinning. My chest hurt from how hard my heart was thumping. This necklace, how in the world did it get here? I didn't take it back here with me, I left it on Frank's grave in Jersey. I discreetly pinched myself to see if I was dreaming, but I didn't wake up. This was real life. "Oh! Frank still saw him though: hallucinations, as he knew them to be now, and it took him years in a hospital he never thought he'd get out of to convince himself of his newfound sanity, but he was okay now. Twenty eight year old Frank Iero had been officially 'okay' since he was twenty five. He hadn't seen Gerard again, and he didn't even think about the guy - he was just normal, and he was almost painfully content with being the secretary to someone with a five figure salary.
