Frank didn't feel extraordinary. If anything, he felt betrayed. Betrayed by the people who promised to look after him. Care for him. Help him. They abused him on a regular basis just to make him bleed and quite honestly, Frank was getting sick of it.

The last thing Gerard needed was an unexpected guest. He could barely provide for himself and his brother, and to have another person to look after was the least of his worries. But the poor boy was a bleeding mess on the floor and he had no choice but to take him in.

Gerard way and Frank Iero have always passed each other in the hallway but never spoke a word to one another. They are both alike in many ways. Both loners who feel like they don't quite belong. It's not like I asked for this. I didn't ask. I didn't want this. But now there's nothing in this world that I could want more. Him, next to me. Smiling. Us sitting next to each other. Holding hands. Kissing. Hugging. Everything. Frank; a depressed kid with problems no one could imagine. And a desire to die. Gerard; another depressed kid who doesn't want life anymore. 3:39 am. Frank wonders why he's still alive. 12:37 pm. Mikey wonders why his friend, Frank, is acting so weird. 2:19 pm. Gerard leaves the house and goes to the beach, where he found the boy. 3:49 pm. Frank realises someone found him. 5:26 pm. Mikey wants to know what the fuck is going on with the two important people in his life. He's homeschooled as well, which means he only ever leaves to get groceries. For how little he leaves the house, and how closed off he is, it's quite a wonder how he met Frank. Frank is an extrovert and he kind of lacks boundaries when it comes to making friends. He's curious and speaks his mind constantly, which sometimes gets him into trouble. It must be good for something though, because not many people bother to figure out Gerard. Okay, so Gerard wasn't exactly ecstatic about where they had ended up. Sure, it was Frank, his best friend's birthday, it was Halloween, and they even had a day of vacation from touring. But when the four of them, Gerard, Frank, Ray, and Mikey, ended up on the outskirts of some random town in Jersey stood in front of a long since abandoned house with all sorts of bad vibes about it, Gerard wasn't all too keen on exploring it. And perhaps Gerard was just a little frightened about the fact that he had no memory of how they had gotten there... Parents that act like their part of the fucking WBC... A flaming homosexual son... This is going to work out great. (The story will be better than the intro, I swear!!) Gerard's parents are religious, they value their beliefs above their sons. But Gerard doesn't believe in such things. Gerard was different than all the other people his age. He always had been. No one seemed to understand his strange ways, except for his brother, Mikey. Mikey was the only person Gerard gave a shit about, in fact, he truly loved his brother. He's normal now, he's a person now, he's a fucking adult with an office job and he fucking hates it and that's fine, because he got out of the mental hospital three years ago, and these past three years of mundane nothingness have been the best three years of his life. Ten years ago, or so, Frank was in love with a boy called Gerard with fiery red hair and the personality of a switchblade knife, and ten years ago that boy called Gerard had killed himself. Frank still saw him though: hallucinations, as he knew them to be now, and it took him years in a hospital he never thought he'd get out of to convince himself of his newfound sanity, but he was okay now. Twenty eight year old Frank Iero had been officially 'okay' since he was twenty five. He hadn't seen Gerard again, and he didn't even think about the guy - he was just normal, and he was almost painfully content with being the secretary to someone with a five figure salary. I felt like I was in a bad dream and couldn't wake up, everything was spinning. My chest hurt from how hard my heart was thumping. This necklace, how in the world did it get here? I didn't take it back here with me, I left it on Frank's grave in Jersey. I discreetly pinched myself to see if I was dreaming, but I didn't wake up. This was real life. "Oh! That's mine, the string must've broken loose." I heard a voice. I saw feet at first. Yellow converse shoes. Then I saw pants. Black jeans. Then I saw a jacket. A green camo military jacket, not real obviously. Then I saw tattooed hands holding a coffee cup. They were red, most likely freshly washed. Then I met eyes with the person before me. I dropped the necklace and gasped loudly, holding back a shocked scream. The person's face fell, eyes going wide. They took a step back and then a cautious one forward. "Gerard?" They whispered.
