Romance
The Yarrow and the Glenn families have been close for years. The two couples became friends in college, and unlike all other college friends, they actually stayed together. They graduated together, moved to the same town, got married around the same time, had children, have family dinners together every Friday night, and have basically been best friends since forever. Their children, however, are a different story. Elaine Yarrow and Chris Glenn have hated each other from the beginning, and everyone knows it. Elaine's mathletes scoff at the muscles of Chris' football cronies. Chris' lacrosse chamions make fun of Elaine's stupid Model UN geeks. The entire town's heard of the intense hatred and rivalry between Elaine and Chris. And their families, well, they've just learned to deal. However, as everyone knows, there's a thin line between love and hate. In public, Elaine and Chris go at it like cats and dogs: the fighting never ends. But, in the middle of the night, sneaking into each other's bedrooms, you can be sure they're going at it like rabbits: under that lab coat, Chris can assure that Elaine is one fine specimen. No microscope needed. The two are perfectly happy with their arrangement, exploding in public, yelling and screaming, and exploding in private, if ya know what I mean ;). Until, one day, Chris decides he loves her. And he wants the world to know. Elaine, perfectly happy with her two separate lives, does not, under any circumstance want anyone to know. But what happens when the truth somehow leaks out? Who's responsible? Are they going to make it through this, or is the fight suddenly going to become very, very real? Find out when everybody talks.

The guy pushes his hood off and runs a hand through his untamed hair. I notice it shaking from where I'm standing, so I'm sure the pharmacist does too. Probably not the best strategy if you're shopping for drugs. "I just. . . It's fine, okay. What was the name of the other pills you said I could purchase?" he asks, barely keeping it together. ----- Colin's terrified. He can't close his eyes without wondering if his father is lurking around every corner. He's worried he'll lose his scholarship and lies awake praying he can take his team to victory this year as their new team captain. It's driving him insane too that everywhere he goes, Jade's there and she isn't scared backing down from a fight with him. He needs to get her out of his system. It isn't until she's weaseled her way into every part of his life that he realizes there may be something more to this relationship than he expected. So that's just another thing to add to the list of what's keeping him up. Jade's romantic life is far from ideal, so when proposed with the idea of a one-night stand with a guy who knows how to push all of her buttons, Jade says yes hoping that it will help her forget. The only problem, that one night stand has turned into a friendship, which has turned into sleeping together almost every night. It's fine though, because Colin has trouble sleeping, and Jade's a great "friend".
