The Yarrow and the Glenn families have been close for years. The two couples became friends in college, and unlike all other college friends, they actually stayed together. They graduated together, moved to the same town, got married around the same time, had children, have family dinners together every Friday night, and have basically been best friends since forever. Their children, however, are a different story.

Elaine Yarrow and Chris Glenn have hated each other from the beginning, and everyone knows it. Elaine's mathletes scoff at the muscles of Chris' football cronies. Chris' lacrosse chamions make fun of Elaine's stupid Model UN geeks. The entire town's heard of the intense hatred and rivalry between Elaine and Chris. And their families, well, they've just learned to deal.

However, as everyone knows, there's a thin line between love and hate.

In public, Elaine and Chris go at it like cats and dogs: the fighting never ends. But, in the middle of the night, sneaking into each other's bedrooms, you can be sure they're going at it like rabbits: under that lab coat, Chris can assure that Elaine is one fine specimen. No microscope needed.

The two are perfectly happy with their arrangement, exploding in public, yelling and screaming, and exploding in private, if ya know what I mean ;). Until, one day, Chris decides he loves her. And he wants the world to know. Elaine, perfectly happy with her two separate lives, does not, under any circumstance want anyone to know.

But what happens when the truth somehow leaks out? Who's responsible? Are they going to make it through this, or is the fight suddenly going to become very, very real?
