There's an island in that place between dreams and reality, and on that island is all kinds of amazing creatures and people. Fairies, pirates, redskins and mermaids, all things found in children's dreams and imaginations.
There are others on the island, known to its inhabitants as Neverland. A group of boys who had found the island and decided to never leave, to never grow old, known as the Lost Boys. The leader of these boys is a heroic, slightly immature, cocky, protective, playfully sadistic, aspiring and fearless young man, his past is unknown but his name is one heard all around the globe. A name heard in dreams and stories, Peter Pan.
Elliot's partner was his whole world, but after Allan's death, his ghost haunts Elliot's dreams. Everyone tells Elliot to move on, but he isn't sure he can.
