I didn't ask to be born into this world, none of us did but we make the best of it. I'm a twenty-five year old single man. Why you may ask? Because I've seen what love can do to a person. It can destroy them. My parent's are amazing but I can still remember the time's my father threatened to kill my mother, left us due to his mental illness. Besides who needs one main women when I can have a different one under me every night, money to blow and fast cars. I'm just enjoying my time until I take my Papes place at the throne. Most nights are spent living it up with my cousins who are my only friends. However there is the one girl that has caught my eye and I don't know why. I first spotted her at a random coffee house I stepped into. Usually I'm very talkative especially when I'm trying to snag a chic but I couldn't utter a word to her. I barely managed to place my order. Now, I find myself going out of my way to stop by that coffee shop everyday. It doesn't matter that it's out of my way. The only thing that matters is that I see her. I knew I could take her if I really wanted to but I can't make myself to do it. She sees me enter and shoots me that amazing smile and prepares my order without even asking what I want, she knows. She'll offer a greeting but all I can do is nod my head. She makes me lose my word's. Deep in my mind I wonder if she could be the one that could change my mind on love and that scares me. For now I'm satisfied at seeing her for the few minutes it takes to get my coffee. Besides I'm a killer, a future mob king and she's this delicate flower that wouldn't understand my world. It's best to cut my loses and move on. If only I knew her name..

Stacy playfully rolled her eyes and noticed her Gucci flops that she wanted to keep for herself. Faith lifted her leg straight into the air and wiggled her ankles. "You like?" "Yeah, those are cute. How can you afford those?" Stacy asked intriguingly. A girl close to her age wearing Gucci and other expensive designers on her wrists, definitely fascinated her and she wanted to know how she could make money like that. Faith smirked. "I gets money." "You sell crack don't you?" Faith cracked up laughing. "Noooo." "You a business owner or something?" Faith hesitated, "I-In a way yes. You could say that." Stacy was puzzled by the game she was playing. She wasn't able to understand anything subliminal that Faith may have been saying. "I'm lost." She said. Faith got up and sat on the couch right next to Stacy. She whispered, "you ever thought of getting paid for something you normally do for free?" "Like what?" Stacy asked. Faith chuckled. "I'm talking about sitting your doughnut onna stick til the cream oozes out, ... feel what I'm saying?" And now everything clicked. "Sweat" Remake No, this is not exactly like "Sweat" but it has all the same themes, and I didn't want multiple books about sex trafficking, so here's one, new and improved. Guys are so unpredictable, untrustworthy, easily bored, and always find a way to disappoint you. Not this one though! "Sometimes the things you need are right under your nose, and you'll miss them if you don't pay attention." That is what my mom always said anyway. Who knew she was right all along. Snapping out of my own thoughts I opened my eyes and he was still there. Down on one knee staring up at me, waiting on an answer. But why me? I ignored you, made you chase me, then brought drama into your life, bombarded you like a soldier on the front line, and invaded your life! Worked my way in like a flea. Yet you love me? REALLY? My hand balled into a fist and went flying before I could think. All I can say is you bet not let me down! Do not be like the others! Do not embarrass me! I'm giving my all to you, leaving it all in your hands... "Ouch!" Ok. Let's do this! I'm not sure how to put these feeling into words so the poetry and song titles are to help you feel what I am feeling as much as possible. This might get a little steamy at times! Hope you enjoy. Also this is a first draft so please excuse any mistakes, thanks!

Have you ever stopped to sit and watch the world pass by; wondering what would happen if we had no time, no clock, nothing to keep track, or have you ever sat down and listen to music drowning out all unwanted problems you refuse to pay attention to. As you sit you begin to realize every second has its new beginnings. Time is something money can't buy, but it is also something you can't place on fast forward or rewind. Every beat of life counts just have to listen to the melody to live it happily. A young teenage girl is living an unwanted life every hour has a memory running straight through and every tick tock and replay cuts into her past. "Turn the music up, real loud. As the lyrics fill my head, a hundred memories run wild, lyrics intertwining with my thoughts. Change of attitude, cant be disturbed. Words flow like tears, all eyes on me. Every one is an onlooker, keep watching you don't want to miss this." Here is her story.

"I see the world and it seems like I see it so differently than most other people. It makes me really angry most of the time. Especially since no one ever listens to me or what I've got to say. I try to express myself in so many different ways and no one sees it. When I sing a song people will only care about how the music sounds or how much I swore. If I paint, people will see the picture but not the meaning. It seems so obvious to me but everyone just seems to... close their eyes. Or at least shut off their brain. As if I see things they don't. But when they don't listen, how can I communicate that to them? It's so frustrating." Allie is a high school student and has big plans to make the world a better place. But her own head is pitting against her, throwing rocks in her path on a daily basis. Everything seems to be great for a while but what happens when her world suddenly comes crashing down around her? Can she ever recover? A coming-of-age story that deals with mental ilnesses, grief, first loves and family, briefly taps into the subject of religion and will likely enrapture you. Trigger warning: mental illnesses, self harm, death, dealing with grief, mentions of guns and gun control, mentions of cults, mentions of homophobia, dissociation. Names of bands, band members and song titles have been changed but at this point I want to credit mainly Palaye Royale, the band 'Homesick Soldiers' that is mentioned throughout is heavily based off them, but I'm sure if you're familiar with them you would have been able to tell that :)
