Aria is sixteen and a victim. A victim of fire. When her house is burned down killing her whole family except her one brother she shattered. Lost in life and with so much guilt on her shoulders because of blaming herself for their death she tries to find the confidence for her little brother. She gets fostered with her brother. New school. New family. No friends.
She gets bullied. How can a burnt girl even fit into this perfect world created by the media, how can she ever live up to that? She wants to commit suicide but then she meets a boy. Follow Aria on her journey of tears, hope and maybe happiness.

She scowls. He smiles. She glowers. He laughs. She's cold. He's open. She hides with hate. He hides with jokes. Polar opposites. That doesn't stop them from loving each other. He's still here." The worst part? They were divorced. Which meant he was always tossed around back and forth to each guardian, just waiting to be loved! His other siblings- might he add were ALWAYS given attention- had found their home. Some of his siblings stayed with his mother. And the rest stayed with his father. Both permanent. And Leo? He appreciates the concern. He went from place to place. He just couldn't find his home. What did he do to cope? He smiled. Aria had a simple life, she had her friends, her brother, and her parents. At the time she thought life couldn't get any better; minus the guy she was in love with was having a hard time noticing she's the one. But when tragedy strikes, she doesn't know how to deal with it. Losing someone close to her and the guilt that eats away at her heart. How do you deal with it? The life she had known was gone. The pain feels like drowning. Though putting your life together is hard when you keep finding out people aren't who they say they are. Who could possibly help her keep her head above water? Someone she least expected? Could he be the one to save her, before it all becomes too much? Ryder didn't leave much falsehood to rumors. A complete playboy. He didn't have much he cared about in life anymore, at least, other than his friends. They were the only ones who knew his dark secrets, the mystery that hid in his eyes. That's the way he liked it, usually keeping to himself, not giving a shit what anyone thought about him. When Aria walks in his life, things get shaken up. In a sick sort of way, she loved it-reminiscing about Leo, literally drowning in the memories of him. And it isn't long till Riley does drown herself among those gray memories, shutting and shunning the world forever, in a place too far to reach. She is already so gone, that every one of her friends and family are very close to giving up, and on each tick of the clock Riley is close to letting go. Will a curious stranger's words save her, or will Riley try to save herself? *If you read the summary, and decided that it is some sort of typical clichè , I'd like to tell you that this is NOT a cliche 'damsel-in-distress-saved-by-a-knight-in-shining-armour' story at all. You won't find anything such as that, as the tags suggests too.
