Eve returns to a broken home… literally. The doors are hanging off their hinges, the furniture is everywhere and it seems that her ex-boyfriend, Devon, part of one of the three original vampire families, the Damerell’s have helped to murder her entire family. Spreading them from room to room in a gruesome treasure hunt. 
He spared her life once but he doesn’t feel so generous this time around. Eve is now on the run and she’s completely alone with no family and friends willing to help her due to the lengths that the Damerell’s will go to, to kill her and become the last and most powerful original vampire family in the entire world.
Devon and the Damerell’s aren’t the only ones watching her every move to see where she’ll end up; someone else is out there and she senses them. Whether it’s a friend or foe, Eve isn’t sure she wants to stop for long enough to find out.
